The term ‘bonsai’ literally translated from Japanese means tray planting or tree in pot. The term refers specifically to the training and artistic vision applied to the tree; ultimately this will give the illusion of an aged miniature tree in nature. It is more than just a little tree, it is an attempt to represent nature itself in a small pot. This Bonsai is really cool. It came on time and just as in the picture. The rocks and zen fisherman are so unique, friends keep asking where I found this bonsai! Looks really cool in my apartment, I recommend this seller and this bonsai tree. I’ve bought many great plants from them. thanks!!

I searched the internet for a bonsai tree for my husband’s birthday and I decided to order this one based on the other two reviews. They were right! This bonsai tree came very well packaged, on time, and is just like the picture. I also ordered the Bonsai (101 Essential Tips) (Paperback)for $5.00 on Amazon as well as the Bonsai Tool Kit, Student 5 Piece, Joshua Roth Limited. You can’t go wrong with this bonsai tree! I totally agree with the other two reviewers. 5 stars!

I sent this to my 80 year old Grandmother for X-Mas this year… she LOVED it!! She said it came packaged wonderfully, and with no breakage whatsoever… In fact, she even asked me to write this review, because she wanted other folks to know that you cannot go wrong with sending this to someone… Highly recommended!!!!!

I really like prayer plants and was interested in buying a red one. I decided to purchase these since I was having trouble finding one locally. They arrived quickly by priority mail. The 4 inch pots had tape around the top to keep the soil in place and the box they were in was full of packing peanuts. Be prepared to repot the plants within the week, 4 inch pots are a bit small.

The green plant was much larger than the red one. The green one was also blooming (they arrived in September.) After repotting both plants they are both thriving and growing like weeds. They like light, but not direct sun. The green one folds its leaves more tightly than the red at night.

The only thing that would have improved the purchase experience whould have been if Hirt’s Gardens had included a care sheet for the plants.

I recieved these prayer plants 3 days before i was supposed to, and a few of the leaves were broke, but other then that they were in great condition. I ordered these plants because my husband said that they were beautiful plants. I just did not know how pretty they would be till I recieved these plants. I would deffinatly order from them again, if there ever was another plant that i could not find in my area. The pictures just do not do them justice. They are just beautiful. I can’t wait to see how big they actually get.
