Even if you are just dabbling in perennial gardening, you will find this book simply delightful. I myself have been a perennial gardener for many years, and I also work in the greenhouse industry, yet this is the most positive, fun to use, and informational book I have found yet. Anything you could possibly think of, from soil prep, to sunlight, to multiplying your babies will be found here. I myself still like to curl up with this book on a cold winter day to dream about tweaking my gardens next spring. This would be a good single reference if you do not buy another gardening book-do try this one.
