Diamond Confetti

Robert asks…

I am purchasing diamond confetti as a table decoration. How much do I need to buy for 20 tables?

I am helping plan my sis’ wedding, and I we are using a “hollywood” theme and I wanted to decorate the tables with diamond confetti. I don’t know how much to purchase since none of the websites I’ve visited have had any kind of advice or calculator to help me figure it out.

admin answers:

I would assume that the confetti comes in little pouches as I’ve seen in party supplies stores by me. How big are the tables? How many people do they sit?

1 bag for every 2 tables. Buy 10 to play it safe. If you have extra, you can use extra for her table and/or where the cake is set. 🙂

Laura asks…

How much diamond wedding confetti do I need for 30 tables?

I have thirty tables with 8 people at each one. I am putting some confetti on little hexågon mirrors that are underneath some medium sized vases. I don’t know how much to get though. Right now I think I am going to get 2000 purple confetti and 2000 silver confetti to mix together for each table. Remember it’s not going on the entire table. Just the mirrors underneath the vases. Is this enough or do I need more?

admin answers:

Just put about half a hand full on each table and sprinkle it around the mirror.. Don’t count then because your just adding more stress on yourself.. You will have left over maybe sprinkle it on the cake table also.

Diamond Confetti Question for Wedding?

I am going to use diamond confetti to spread on the tables at my wedding. I am trying to figure out how many 1/3 or 1 carat diamond confetti‘s you would need to cover around 20 tables or so. Does anyone have an idea? These tables would seat about 8 people.

admin answers:

I’m not quite sure how much you’ll need, but why don’t you use Swavorski crystals instead? They come in small packets and can be purchased from pretty much any craft store. They’d save you a lot of money and you can probably buy them in bulk and sprinkle them on your tables freely without worrying how much you’ll have left. You can also have your wedding florist incorporate the crystals into your bouquets by having them stick them to the petals of the flowers. Its quite beautiful. Good luck!

Michael asks…

Anyone use “diamond confetti” at their wedding for decor?

I was considering buying this to put on my tables for my Old Hollywood wedding and was wondering if anyone had used it before. How does it look? Do you have any pics to share?

This is what it is:

When I say, how does it look, I mean how does it look in real use. 🙂 I know the people selling it can make the light shine off it perfectly to seem amazing, but I want to know if it’s just as nice in use for a real wedding.

Diamond Confetti

admin answers:

In real life they can be very pretty… A quick thought, if young children are going to be at your wedding, you want to be careful about how you spread them out on the tables, removing the temptation to put them in their young mouths… an alternative is to put them in tiny vases, bowls or other containers…

Carol asks…

ideas for my party please help me :)?

My sixteen is going to be at my house and I need some cool ideas to take it to the next level. My theme is diamonds and the colors are black and some silver. So far I have all of the plates napkins food trays cups well paper goods, and table covers. I have “diamond confetti” for the tables a really pretty fondant 2 tear cake with a big diamond on top. I have purchased a chocolate fountain with white chocolate to set up at the party. I live on a little over 5 acres and am going to have a bon fire volleyball, horseshoes, darts and MAYBE basketball, if we can make the court on time. I was thinking of making virgin drinks and die sugar black to put around the rim of the glasses. I need more ideas to make this party great please help.
ohh and we are getting a LOT of balloons

admin answers:

Decorate the cake with tiny diamonds, paper cut outs on the cake tray, different colors, like red and blue.

Put diamonds of different colors on the cups and paper goods. But stick to your main colors and if you give gifts or door prizes, wrap them in silver. Make some sugar black and some silver.

Tie silver gift wrap ribbon (curled) on the darts that are thrown. Have the basketball hoop lined with silver/black and make virgin drinks. How about some benches with crepe paper in silver or some chairs out in the yard with black on every other one? You have some good ideas. See if you can get some silver toilet tissue and put wrapping string on the bathroom door with scissors to curl it. What time is the party. I will bring you a present with a silver paper wrapping. Have fun and good luck
